The stadium is the home of FC Stade Nyonnais, coming out in the Swiss third class. UEFA took over the management of the complex from the municipality of Nyon in 2010. Three years later, the Youth League tournament saw her daylight for the first time. Since then, the Youth League Finals have been finished here and top clubs regularly train at the complex. Colovray is also used to train talented young European referees.

Once before, a Dutch club played an official match in Nyon. The Under-19 of Ajax participated in the Youth League Finals in 2019. In the semi-final, the team of then trainer John Heitinga lost 3-0 to Benfica. Quinten Timber, Christian Rasmussen, Calvin Raatsie, Youri Regeer, Ar’jany Martha, Sontje Hansen and Enric Llansana are some names from that team. All talents who later broke through in professional football.

Home base UEFA

As mentioned, cross the road and you exchange the chic head office for the sports complex. UEFA has been housed in Nyon since 1995 after it moved from Bern. It worked in temporary offices for four years because it House of European FootballL still had to be made. In October 1999, UEFA attracted the office. Around 800 employees work in the office every day.
