Green Day has been a star in the music sky for decades. Now the pop punk trio as such is also to be immortalized at the Hollywood Boulevard.

On May 1st, the band will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The unveiling of this 2,810. Honorcut in the pavement of the famous street in Los Angeles will take place in the morning. The legacy of Green Day
The rock scene accepted Green Day a little more than honorable: in 2015 the California band was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Singer and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool have published twelve top 10 albums in the USA since its foundation in 1986, three of them in 1st place.
In Germany, 21st Century Breakdown (2009) reached the top of the charts, with the last three releases they narrowly missed them. They won five Grammys and 89 other music prizes in their career. Most recently, Green Day performed as headliner of the Coachella Festival.
