Actually, his employer should be happy. But apparently the opposite is the case. This could become a disadvantage for Daniel Farke.

Success is rewarded – or not? In the case of Daniel Farke it could actually be different. The 48-year-old German coach led Leeds United from the English 2nd league back to the upper house after only two years. However, despite the sporting success, the coach may be out of the end, according to a report by the “Daily Mail”.

Two game days before the end of the season, the club from Yorkshire made the climb perfect. Farke thus made the leap into the Premier League for the third time in his career – a brand that only reached Neil Warnock in front of him. But as the sheet reports, there should be doubts from the club managers whether Farke is also the right solution in the Premier League.

The German trainer, who had previously looked after Norwich City, was on the sidelines for 49 games in England’s elite class between 2019 and 2022. He was only able to win six of them with his team.

The majority of Leed’s United belongs to the U.S. investor group 49ers Enterprises, Red Bull holds a minority stake. In the background, alternative trainer options should be considered. A separation of farke would be risky – not only because of the sporting location, but also because of its high popularity among fans.

The recurrence was by no means a matter of course. After the missed ascent in the previous season, the club had lost several top performers. The sovereign return to the Premier League is all the more remarkable. According to many experts, considerable investments in the squad should be necessary for relegation.
