In February, Niko Kovač replaced Nuri Şahin as BVB coach. It was only unclear how long the Croatian should stay in Dortmund.
Niko Kovač has been in office at BVB for 79 days – and his work has an effect. After the 3-2 success against Borussia Mönchengladbach, the hope of participation in the Champions League lives again in Dortmund.
The BVB is only four points behind the Leipzig lawn ball. A development is also emerging away from the square: According to the “picture”, the club is planning to go into the next season with the coach regardless of cutting off this season.
Kovač enjoys the full trust of the club management.
