Luuk Ikink lashes out to Tooske Ragas and her colleagues from Shownieuws. In an interview with the Varagids, he shows very clearly what he thinks of the Boulevard competitor.
RTL Boulevard scores solidly, it apparently looks nice for many people, but of course it is very boring. Luuk Ikink thumps Shownieuwtjes as if they were a kind of regular journal item, while they often scream for the cynical interpretation that Albert Verlinde brought to the desk for years. All the salt and pepper is out. What about the competitor?
BLVD vs show
Shownieuws is regularly more controversial and that is mainly due to someone like Ronald Molendijk, who occasionally sometimes jumps out of the band. Guido den attracter also regularly takes care of headlines, if only as a PR man of Rachel Hazes. From a journalistic point of view, that double cap is doubtful, but BlvD no longer wins on that site.
Why not? Boulevard with the Linda-Knip-a critical remark about Linda de Mol was cut out of the program-of course shot quite in the foot. Especially since Boulevard has never really gone through the dust, there is still the image that criticism of the media-immersal to the desk is impossible.
‘Much better’
Yet Luuk feels superior to Shownieuws, of which Tooske Ragas is the Leading Lady is. She alternates with a number of other presenters, including Airen Mylene, Dyantha Brooks and Manuel Venderbos. “Yes, I sometimes watch Shownieuws. Of course I like our own program,” he says in the Varagist.
And not only that: he thinks Boulevard is better quality. “With us are the best experts and the best topics. But yes, Boulevard is better than any other entertainment program anyway.”
Five years

Lubach
Is this the prospect of Boulevard? Luuk who still travels the amuse snacks of the showbiz in ten years without ever really biting something? When will there ever be some spice in that program?
