The youngest series of actions initially only assumed ACOD Spoor and ACV Transcom, but in the end the smaller trade unions also joined VSOA Spoor, OVS and ASTB. The five unions also took action during the past two Tuesdays and will also plan a strike on April 29.
With the actions, rail staff protest against a series of reforms that the federal government wants to implement. This includes an increase in retirement age, more flexibility for the rail employees, savings at the railway and a reform of HR Rail, the legal employer of the rail staff.
