Jonathan Tah will no longer appear for Bayer Leverkusen in the coming season. This was confirmed by the 29-year-old on Sunday.

“Everything has been said from the start. There was a time when I made the decision not to extend my contract and not stay here. It stays now,” said Tah in the mixed zone after the 1-1 (1-0) against FC St. Pauli on Sunday evening.

A farewell Tahs had been in the room for a long time. In the past, there had always been speculation about switching to Bayern Munich. It is still unclear for whom Tah will appear in the coming season.
