LFC is waiting for a contract decision

On April 11th there was the extension of the expiring contract with top scorer Mohamed Salah (32) for fans of FC Liverpool, and on April 17, captain Virgil van Dijk (33) the championship could be made perfect. Only the signature of right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold (26) is missing under a new working paper. With a market value of 75 million euros, the LFC plant is the most valuable footballer at the end of the contract in 2025.
Van Dijk says about his teammate, with whom he has run 262 times since 2018: “Since I joined the club, he has been a fantastic player. There are many good things that you will remember when he decided to go.”
Alexander-Arnold is spoiled for choice: either he extends with his training association, with which he will promptly celebrate the second championship of his career or he changes to the largest club in the world-Real Madrid. There should be an increase in salary either way. The English international currently earns around 11 million euros per season. Van Dijk’s salary is said to have been almost doubled to around 24 million euros in the course of the extension. Salah, who also signed by 2027, is said to receive so much.

“As a group, we don’t know what will happen. I think it is already under great pressure, so there is no reason for me to embarrass him in any way,” says van Dijk (via “Sky Sports”). “There is a lot of excitement about him. Of course you can argue whether it is his own fault or whether it is simply part of life today.”
After the royal players have not contracted for over a decade-free transfer player, they have been brought in a top-class zero tariff almost every summer since the commitment of ex-Bayer David Alaba (32) in the summer of 2021. In 2022 Antonio Rüdiger (32) from Chelsea and 2024 Kylian Mbappé (26) from PSG followed. Alexander-Arnold would be the next prank, which will not pay a transfer, but will cost a large hand money.
“I often forget that we are dealing with a person. He has lived through many difficult moments in the past few months, and everyone has an opinion,” says van Dijk, who clarifies that Alexander-Arnold’s contract has not influenced. “He was important throughout the season.”
If Taa decides to switch to the royal, he would be the eighth Englishman in the club’s history of the Madrilenen-the seventh was in 2023 Jew Bellingham (21) after 18 years without English real professional. If the third big contract extensions will be with the Reds in a few weeks, he has the chance to get to a club icon. He currently takes 35th place among the professionals with the most games in the LFC jersey. A five-year contract should promote it in the direction of the top 10.
