Queen Silvia was earlier this month in foot surgery. Hovi spokesman Margareta Thorgren says the Queen is on sick leave until Easter.
Thorgren commented to Svensk Dam on Good Friday that the queen is doing well in relation to the circumstances, but she is still resting.

The Silvia surgery was caused by a bone, meaning her big toe was skewed and pointed inward. Immediately after the surgery, it was commented on the court that the operation went well.
