Take a deep breath at the master of 1967: Braunschweig has won the traditional duel against Lautern. As a result, relegation has become significantly more likely.
The weak FCK can slowly bury his hopes for the Bundesliga promotion. Lino Tempelmann (51st) and Rayan Philippe (53.) met for Eintracht, who scored ten points from the past four games and came a big step closer to relegation.
In the duel of the Bundesliga founding members, not much happened at first. The events played primarily in the competitive midfield. After 20 minutes the hosts became stronger, almost nothing went on the offensive at the FCK.
At the beginning of the second half, the four -time champion from the Palatinate became more active, but after two hair -raising mistakes of the previously weak Tim Breithaupt conceded two goals within two minutes. Afterwards, the third Braunschweig hit was in the air several times. The FCK put everything on one card after an hour and changed aggressively. However, the hoped -for yield failed to materialize.
No winner in the chasing duel: Elversberg and Düsseldorf separated and missed the pressure on the pressure on leaders Hamburger SV and the second -placed 1. FC Köln.
Ísak Jóhannesson (73.) put the guests in the lead, Carlo Sickinger (80th, penalty) equalized. Both teams initially showed great respect for each other and shy away from the risk. There were therefore no chances in the initial phase. The hosts became braver from the middle of the first half. Florian Kastenmeier (25th) parried Robin Fellhauer’s spacer shot. The goalkeeper of the guests was also on hand against Muhammed Damar (42nd), Kostenmeier was lucky at the header of Sickinger (43.).
Elversberg was also much more active at the beginning of the second round. But Manuel Feil (49./53.) Also found his master in Kastenmeier. Goal scorer Fisnik Asllani (59.) also briefly moved.
Düsseldorf took the lead out of nowhere. Lukas Pinckert lost the ball in his own penalty area to Johannesson, who hit from an acute angle. The lead did not last long. After a foul by Jamil Siebert to Fellhauer, Sickinger converted the penalty. Three minutes later, substitute Giovanni Haag awarded the chance to lead the guests again.
Paderborn won the chasing duel in the promotion struggle. Tjark Scheller (20th), Ilyas view (49.) and Sven Michel (77th) turned the encounter in the Max Morlock Stadium in favor of the guests. Mahir Emreli (2nd) initially brought the home team of coach Miroslav Klose in the lead, but after a serious injury to Nuremberg’s creative player Jens Castrop (17th), however, the encounter completely overturned. The connection, again by Emreli (90.+3), came too late.
The afternoon started emotionally, with an impressive choreography of the “Club” fans for the 125th anniversary. Supported by the euphoria, the ex-Paderborn Julian Justvan served after only 98 seconds with a steep pass from the middle circle of Emreli, the SCP keeper Manuel Riemann and pushed into the empty goal.
