What will Leontine Ruiters do if Marco Borsato has to appear in front of the gate? Does she go with her or does she sit on the couch at home? “I don’t really know if it’s obvious.”
The investigation in the sex offense against Marco Borsato has finally been completed by the Public Prosecution Service and a suitable date of session has been sought for a while. The case against the singer will probably start after the summer and maybe that will be a larger media happening than the trial against Ali B.
Is Leontine coming?
Will Leontine Ruiters play a role in that media happening? Is she going to assist Marco in court or does she let him go there alone?
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden wonders. He puts it in the podcast Strictly private For to colleague Evert Santegoeds, the editor -in -chief of Privé. “Do you actually expect Leontine to go to that lawsuit, to support him there?”
“Say no”
Evert does not rule out it that Leontine comes along. “I don’t say no, but I don’t know if it is obvious either. You of course know that a battery of photographers is waiting and I don’t know if she pulls that.”
He continues: “On the other hand, she has always said that she supports him. That can be on Valentine’s Day, or if it is his birthday. Then she can now show to what extent she really stands behind him. Yes, she got a lot of it of course.”
Lawyers
Ali himself also stood in front of the cameras all the time to call everything, but we don’t have to expect that from Marco, Evert thinks.
He concludes: “I think he leaves it to his lawyers. He hired it a long time ago and built up a bond. I understand that he mainly has good contact with Mr. Knoops and he will start the word then, I take.”
