Ben Cramer does not understand that RTL eventually did not ask him to become a coach in The Voice of Holland, even though he hoped for it. “I don’t know how it is possible.”
According to Ben Cramer, it is undeniably that he earns a place in the rotating seats of The Voice of Holland, but the 78-year-old singer has passed and he finds that very unfortunate. He does not hide his disappointment and puts his extensive complaint in the Weekendin which he led to the new Voice coach Claude.
Well -known heads
Ben thinks it is a shame that a young duo like Suzan & Freek is welcome, but he is not. “They are currently popular. John de Mol is not crazy. He goes for the viewing figures of course. A feast of recognition, well -known heads. The youth hardly knows me anymore,” said the singer, who does not seem to know that John de Mol has not been involved in this for years.
No Ben in the Voice chair. “No, but that doesn’t surprise me. How often have I heard of people: how is it possible that you have never been to that? Yes, I don’t know either.”
Tom Jones
It is disrespectful, says Ben. “I have been busy for almost sixty years and still not asked. In my last conversation with Weekend I gave singer Tom Jones in England as an example. He is 84, but sings the stars of heaven. He still leaves everyone amazed.”
He continues: “I hear that people are still amazed by my voice when they hear me perform. But of course it is not nothing that happened at The Voice. They don’t want to run the risk that there is also an old guy in that chair.”
Senior?
Isn’t Ben what kind of the voice senior? “I hear more say that. I would like that. But I already like that people call my name. I think you should have someone in the chair who knows what to get it from and what you are talking about.”
“I see it happen too often that, for example, breathing technique is wrong. Too little constructive criticism is given, and I am.
