Tel Aviv (dpa-AfX)-In the indirect negotiations between Israel and Islamist Hamas about another ceasefire in the Gaza War, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the hostage question with the supporters and heads of the security authorities. The head of government ordered to continue working on the release of the hostages, said Netanyahu’s office. According to Israeli information, 24 living hostages and 35 corpses of abdomen are currently being captured in the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, the Hamas media reports continue to examine the youngest Israeli proposal for the release of the remaining hostages and a new ceasefire. However, the positions are hardened. While the Palestinian terrorist organization insists that Israel withdraws from the Gaza Strip after the release of the last hostages and ends the war, the Israeli government wants to disarm Hamas and maintain permanent military presence in parts of the coastal area.

The last ceasefire phase ended almost a month ago after Israel and Hamas could not have agreed on the modalities for the next phase. The Israeli forces then resumed their massive attacks in the Gaza Strip. Relatives of hostages accuse Prime Minister of Netanyahu to put the life of their relatives in danger with the military operation./DDE/DP/ZB
