Hasan Ismaik, investor at TSV 1860 Munich, would like to sell his shares in the club. He announced this in an exclusive ARD interview. Among other things, he mentions the difficult cooperation with the club tour.

Hasan Ismaik plans to sell his shares in the third division club TSV 1860. He explained this in the exclusive interview, which will be seen in parts on Sunday, from 9:45 p.m., in the BR program “Blickpunkt Sport”.

“I want to sell the club and just be a fan. I just want to be a fan of 1860,” said Ismaik. “I think in 1860 someone needs new ones-you don’t need Hasan. If I stay, this club will stay as it is,” said the 47-year-old in an interview with the authors Robert Grantner and Christoph Nahr, which was managed as part of filming for the new ARD documentary series “Rise & Fall of 1860”.

Ismaik at the price and buyer: “Have not yet made any decision”

In an exclusive interview at “Blickpunkt Sport”, Hasan Ismaik, who was switched on live from Abu Dhabi, said that he had no concrete ideas about the price. “There are many offers, but I haven’t made a decision yet.”

However, Ismaik is important that the buyer has a plan of his shares: “If he has no plan, I am not ready to sell.” He wants to achieve someone who offers solutions for building the stadium, such as the traditional association, the goal of climbing the Bundesliga – “then I will support it,” says Ismaik.

Ismaik justifies decision: “No appreciation, no respect”

In 2011, Ismaik bought 60 percent of the shares in 1860 GmbH & Co. KGAA for 18 million euros when the association was about to go. Since then, the Jordanian has had a major role in the club, experienced the descent from the second division. Afterwards, the association did not receive the license for the 3rd league, since the amount of money required for this was not stored until the deadline. To date, there are different representations of how it came about.

This and Other differences that accompany Ismaik’s time at TSV 1860according to the Jordanian, the main reason for his wish to sell his shares in the club: “I have been suffering from these people for 14 years. They have had very bad experiences and a very bad time. (…) There is no appreciation, no respect. Nothing,” complains Ismaik.

But Ismaik also admits its own mistakes: “I blame myself that before I bought I didn’t understand in 1860-the culture, the history of the club, the 50+1 rule. That people want something else here-I should have recognized that beforehand.”

Ismaik dream: Munich derby “Before I die”

It remains to be seen how the sale should actually go. However, Ismaik warns potential interested parties of the task: “Anyone who thinks they have the ability to buy in 1860. My door is open. But if it does not have 200 to 300 million, it will not work for him”.

Ismaik still wishes the club sporting success and that the vision was fulfilled, because of which he once acquired the shares: “I want to sell the club and just be a fan. I just want to fan from 1860. I pray for the club to play in the first division one day. This is my dream – and I hope that this dream will come true before I die: One derby in Munich and 1860 in the first one Bundesliga. “
