The DFB Federal Court rejected the administrative complaint of the third division soccer team FC Hansa Rostock against the deposition of the game at SpVgg Unterhaching. This means that the Mecklenburgers have to compete in the bottom of the table for the catch -up game.

As the German Football Association announced on Thursday evening, the catch-up game for Tuesday, April 29, was scheduled. The kick -off is at 7 p.m. in the sports park. The encounter of the 26th match day had been deducted from the DFB game management a few days before the scheduled schedule (March 2) because the municipality of Unterhaching had blocked the third division club as a playground.

Hansa hoped for points at the green table

The SpVgg, which had missed a deadline for revising the submitted security concept, took over full responsibility. FC Hansa had therefore lodged an administrative complaint against dismissing the duel. The Mecklenburgers hoped for three points at the green table. Now the team of coach Daniel Brinkmann has to compete with the designated relegation.

Or not? “FC Hansa Rostock has taken note of the judgment of the DFB Federal Court and is currently examining further legal remedies to represent the interests of our association with all the consequences,” said the Mecklenburger.

Does Hansa have to go four times within eight days?

However, Brinkmann is now preparing for things. “We have no choice, the situation is what it is,” said the coach on Friday at the end of the current English week. “We now accept it as it is and we will get along with that too.”

Through the home game against 1860 Munich (Friday, April 25), the game in Unterhaching (Tuesday, April 29), the away game in Sandhausen (Saturday, May 3) and the cup game at FC Schönberg (Thursday, May 1) would be even thicker for the Rostocker in two weeks.

However, the trainer is optimistic that his team would survive: “We don’t have to do it like Bayern Munich and Co. all year round.” However, at least there is still a chance that the cup game will be laid.

Hansa ties against Verl ans Osnabrück game to?

But first of all, it is important to stay on course. Rostock has booked a 1-2 defeat at Rot-Weiss Essen and a 1-0 win at VfL Osnabrück in this English week.

Only with another victory against SC Verl could Hansa today (2 p.m., in the Livecenter at NDR.de) in the Baltic Sea Stadium, the promotion hopes could be kept alive. The deficit of the Hanseatic League to Relegation Platz three is currently seven points.
