Rock legend Mick Jagger, 81, longtime partner Melanie Hamrick37, has finally confirmed that they are engaged.

The couple’s engagement was rumored in 2023, when Hamrick was seen as an impressive ring in his anonymous. At that time, however, the former ballerina acknowledged rumors by stating that this was a “promise ring”. Later, the engagement was confirmed to the media, but the couple themselves have not talked about their relationship.
– We have been engaged for two to three years, Hamrick told the French publication.
However, the wedding plans are not one of the couple’s current concerns.
– Maybe one day we’re getting married, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I wouldn’t dare to change anything, Hamrick comments.
In the interview, Hamrick also talked about the secret of their relationship.
– We are trying to support each other, to support each other and make sure everyone is happy. It’s all that matters to me and what I strive for, he said.
The choreographer and ballerina Hamrick and Rolling Stones’ frontman Jagger met in 2014 when both were on a Japanese tour. Jagger with his band and Hamrick Ballet. The relationship became romantic four months later.
Hamrick asked in the interview whether there was a spark between the couple at first meeting.
– Maybe a spark, but nothing unbelievable, like “come in so I will blow up your consciousness and travel around the world.”
Hamrick and Jagger did not change the phone numbers with the first meeting. Hamrick was single at the time of the meeting, but Jagger was not. Jagger’s then spouse, L’Anren Scott, committed suicide in March 2014.
The Rolling Stones star has a total of eight children. Jagger and Hamrick have one common child, a boy born in 2016 Deveraux Jagger.
