Ex-Bayern boss criticizes the record champions

Max Eberl has no easy stand at FC Bayern Munich, which became clear about Thomas Müller again. Ex-CEO Oliver Kahn accuses the association’s lack of support.
The unrest at the top of FC Bayern – now Oliver Kahn is also spending. The club’s former CEO criticized a lack of support for sports director Max Eberl.
With a view to speculation about Eberl’s future, Kahn explained to the “Bild” newspaper that it was “not a good sign” in the past when names were always in public. He pointed out that a sports director needed backing: “At some point a certain trust must be there.” Eberl’s work makes it more difficult and weakness that the fact that possible successors are currently being speculated again and that nobody disagrees.
Eberl’s role in public perception is increasingly controversial among the German record champions. Another uniform picture can not always be recognized internally. So his statements to say goodbye to Thomas Müller did not match those of honorary president Uli Hoeneß.
Most recently, several names were brought into play as possible alternatives – including Mario Gomez, who is currently working in the management of RB Leipzig. Austria’s national coach Ralf Rangnick was also associated with the Bundesliga club.
