Do you have to worry?

London Eurovision Party without Abor & Tynna

As the sibling duo announced on Instagram, the London Eurovision Party will not appear on April 13th. At the annual event, the participants can present themselves and their song to the international audience for the first time. In an Instagram story, the two write: “We are incredibly sad to have to announce that we are unable to perform on Sunday.”

The reason for the short -term cancellation: Tynna had just had a throat inflammation from which she still has to recover. The health of the artist has top priority, emphasizes the duo. “We want to make 100 percent sure that she can give the best performance in Basel!” They also thank you for the understanding and support of your fans.

Health concerns have been concerned since the preliminary decision

In three preliminary shows, the jury-consisting of Stefan Raab (58), Yvonne Catterfeld (45) and Elton (54)-as well as changing guest juror: Inside, from 24 acts from the two siblings for the final on March 1st. There the decision was made: Abor & Tynna became Germany’s representative: Inside for the Eurovision Song Contest.

But Tynnas was already noticed by the preliminary decision. In an interview with the Swiss news portal “20 minutes”, she later said that she was sick at the time of the appearance. However, the criticism of her live performance did not subside even at the latest shows in Zurich and Amsterdam-many users expressed doubts about the live quality of the singing on social media. Some comments on Tikkok said: “She doesn’t even sing live”, while others show that Tynna had to spare her voice.

German ESC-act uncertain?

With the song “Baller”, Abor & Tynna want to score for Germany at the big ESC final in Basel on May 17th. However, it remains to be seen whether the two can really appear in full strength. Since Lena Meyer-Landrut won the long-awaited ESC victory for Germany in 2010-the first after 28 years-15 years have passed.

The ESC bookmakers Germany are currently seeing the lower third of the betting odds. The German Act is currently ranked 22 out of 37 participating countries at “Eurovisionworld.com”. Spotify has already published this year’s forecast.
