The cabinet appoints Minister of State Winnie Sorgdrager as a government commissioner to give advice on the cooperation between the Ministry of Finance and Foundation (equal) worthy recovery (SGH). This is what State Secretary Sandra Palmen-Schangen (recovery and surcharges, NSC) writes on Wednesday in a letter To the Lower House.
SGH is concerned with compensating parents who have been duped by the allowance affair. It is the wishes of the cabinet that the recovery operation of SGH is scaled up. But Palmen-Schlangen writes that “another impasse has arisen” between the Ministry of Finance and the Foundation. “First of all, it is that the victims of the allowance affair be helped by the injustice […] That is ultimately the goal we stand for together, “writes the State Secretary.
The (equal) worthy recovery was founded by, among others, Princess Laurentien. The Foundation and Laurentien were detected several times. Laurentien is said to have shown cross -border behavior towards officials, after which she returned as chairman of the foundation. SGH was also discredited by high rewards that were paid to its own employees.
Winnie Sorgdrager recently advised the government on the role of the Ministry of Defense in the bombing of the city of Hawija in Iraq in 2015, where 85 civilian casualties fell.
