Residents of the sustainable camp in Weerdinge have to accept that there will be a 40 -meter high telecommast from Vodafone at their home.
The Council of State stipulated that there was a late objection against the permit for the antenna mast. The WEERDINGERS lawyer thought he had to object in 2022 to December 9. That period turned out.
According to the highest administrative court, there is no pin in between and the notice of objection submitted more than two weeks late is entirely at the risk of the Wedenders and their counsel.
Furthermore, the Council of State also does not see that the municipality has made hard commitments that a more suitable location would be sought in consultation with the residents. There has been e-mail traffic and the residents tried to consult with the municipality and Vodafone. But little of it ended up.
All in all, the court sees no reason to withdraw the permit and transfer the procedure.
