This was followed by a huge explosion that caused a fire. The building was damaged, but fortunately no family was injured in the rush.

“At first, I thought it was a gas cylinder explosion and we called the fire brigade,” Benayoun says of the events.

The fire brigade quickly arrived and got the fire stopped, but the real shock was still ahead.

– It was only when the police arrived at the house and found the remains of the grenade, we understood what really happened, Benayoun continued.
