In addition to his recognized status as a shopping destination, Hong Kong is also a center for textile innovations, the progress of which is presented at Fashion Instyle from April 27th to 30th. The trade fair organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is home to a new area called Next@Fashion Instyle with a future -oriented program this year.

Next@Fashion Instyle combines over 60 providers: inside of the next generation materials, five local designers: inside and presents fashion shows and panel discussions. For this special edition, Han Chong, the founder and designer of the British brand Self-Portrait, will be present as an ambassador, which should increase the international visibility of the event.

Overall, Fashion Instyle – which has been replacing the Hong Kong Fashion Week since 2023 – will bring together almost 400 exhibitors: inside from the areas of clothing and fashion (textiles, fashion technologies, sustainable solutions, clothing, accessories). The event presents itself as a “comprehensive procurement platform for the entire supply chain of the fashion industry”.

The new exhibition area Next@Fashion Instyle is financially supported by the government of the Hong Kong special administrative zone of the People’s Republic of China by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA). Also noteworthy is the participation of Thailand with the support of the Thailand Creative Culture Agency (Thaacca), which is accompanied by the presence of 30 Thai exhibitors: inside.

In order to ensure the power of the event, the organizers have decided this year to plan the fair at the same time with other large lifestyle events in the city: Home Instyle, Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, Deluxe Printpack Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Parallel to Asian Licensing Conference.
