Thomas Müller almost had saved FC Bayern against Inter Milan before a defeat in the quarter-final first leg of the Champions League. The 35-year-old, who does not receive a new contract from the German record champions in the summer, made the interim compensation in the 85th minute after a substitution. In the meantime, FC Arsenal caused a big surprise against Real Madrid. At the Emirates stage in London, the Gunners won 3-0 (0-0) against the royal and have the best chances of moving back into the semi -finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2008/09. In the second half, two beautiful free kick goals from Declan Rice (58th and 70th minute) provided ecstasy, the former Dortmund Mikel Merino (75th) even took care of the three-goal lead.
