Arminia Bielefeld continues to ride a wave of success. There was also a victory against Wehen Wiesbaden on Tuesday evening in the 3rd league, the Bielefeld won 4: 2 (2: 1) in front of a home crowd.
The Bielefelders experienced a start of lightning. Thijmen Goppel (own goal, 2nd minute of the game) and Marius Wörl (7th) Bielefeld put Bielefeld in the lead, Wiesbaden’s Nikolas Agrafiotis (15th) provided the connection. However, the guests were not able to withstand the powerful game of the Arminia, which played over the number for long distances: Noah Sarenren Bazeee (68th) and Merville Biankadi (72nd) increased for Bielefeld. Wia Wiesbaden did not open, scored a second goal (86th) through Ole Wohlers, but the turn no longer succeeded.
Due to the home success, the Arminia temporarily jumps to the table two, but Cottbus can pass again on Wednesday. Bielefeld makes a strong impression in the end of the season with five games without defeats in a row (four victories) and the sensational move into the DFB Cup final.
Bielefeld benefits from Breakdown gate
The game had hardly started because Goppel went out of an own goal of the brand “he could not have done better as a striker”. Wiesbaden’s defender wanted to clarify a cross, but pushed the ball past his goalkeeper Florian Stritzel into his own network.
Shortly afterwards it was Wörl who used a remarkable move by the Bielefeld about Lukas Kunze, Stefano Russo and Noah Sarenren Bazeee for the 2-0 lead. It was less than ten minutes played and the Bielefeld shone with efficiency.
The guests initially put the start of the disaster into the game well. After a defense carver by Maximilian Große, Agrafiotis prevailed and pushed past Arminia goalkeeper Jonas Kersken to the goal.
Arminia brings to the winning road
Bielefeld was not put off, played forward despite the setback. Wörl failed from a distance on the latte (37th) and shortly afterwards flanked towards Sarenren Bazeee, whose header was parried out of Wiesbaden’s goalkeeper Florian Stritzel. Bitter for the guests: In the added time of the first half, Tarik Gözüsirin saw the red card after he wanted to foast Joel Grodowski tactically, but hit him with the tunnels on the Achilles tendon.
The task for Wiesbaden naturally became much more difficult, and the Arminia played out its majority clever. After Bielefeld missed several chances, the busy Sarenren Bazeee scored his goal after Grodowski had put cleverly into the penalty area. Just four minutes later, Biankadi finally decided the game with a deflected shot from the penalty area – Wohlers’ Tor to the 2: 4 was only cosmetics of results for the guests.
