The Textil Service Industrial Association – Intex EV has a new managing director.
Katrin Kandaouroff has been the managing director of the Textil Service – Intex EV industrial association since April 1, as the association announced on Tuesday. For the time being, she takes on this task together with the previous managing director Norbert Knoche, who will leave office after the upcoming tariff round in the summer after twelve years.
Kandaouroff takes over the management in addition to her previous position as head of tariff policy and labor and social security law at the overall association of the German textile and fashion industry. Due to her many years of experience in this area, a smooth transition and continuity is guaranteed, according to her predecessor Knoche.
“Tariff policy is a core element of the social market economy,” emphasizes Kandaouroff. “As a partner in collective bargaining, we have the opportunity to complete interest -appropriate and differentiated collective agreements and to create clear framework conditions without government influence.”
Collective policy support is a central task of the association, which was founded in 2013 as an employer and business association. Through negotiations with his social partner, IG Metall, he designs the working conditions for and together with his members, according to the message.
