Gorange accessible oncological care and large -scale prevention It is one of the most urgent challenges for the Italian health system. In this context, the ANT Foundation project is inserted “Homiciliary oncological assistance and prevention as a new frontier of treatment ” who enjoys the loan granted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies Notice n.2 /2023 – Project financed pursuant to Article 72 of Legislative Decree 3 July 2017, n.117 and SMI – year 2023.
The initiative aims to strengthen free home care for cancer patients and intensify early diagnosis activities in different Italian regions, contributing to reduce inequalities in accessing care and promoting there Health culture.
From 22 May 2024, the project provides for the taking charge of over 1,800 oncological patientswith multidisciplinary teams who will operate in various cities including Naples and Caserta, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Verona, Udine, Naples, Caserta, Pesaro-Urbino, Milan, Perugia, Florence, Massa Carrara and Ostia-Rome.
Parallel, 45 days of free visits will be organized for prevention of skin tumors, breast, thyroid and gynecological and testicular system, involving regions such as Liguria, Piedmont, Basilicata, Sardinia, Puglia, Emilia-Romagna, Molise, Abruzzo And Sicily.
Ant Foundation, the importance of home care

The sustainable and solidarity model of the Ant
Since 1978, Fondazione Ant has witnessed free 165,000 oncological patientscounting on the contribution of 490 health professionals and over 2,000 volunteers.
