Children comment on women’s football international for the first time at Kika

For Lea, 13, from Hanover, Dimitris, 13, from Heilbronn and Niklas, 12, from Hamburg, a dream comes true. In the Kika-Mitmach campaign “Commentation like a professional”, they convinced with their football knowledge and commentary talents and prevailed under hundreds of applications. For them you go to Wolfsburg, where you can expect a look behind the scenes of football and sports reporting. On April 8, 2025, they can be seen live at Kika. Together with ARD reporter Stephanie Baczyk, Niklas takes over the comment of the international match. Lea and Dimitris are on the road as a reporter and reporter in the stadium and interviewed players, coaches and fans. The three receive support from the “Kika Live” moderation duo Sarah and Ben, who lead through the football evening.

Bernd is also the bread on site: On the occasion of his 25th birthday, the fans in the stadium awaits an exclusive “Dancing the bread” dance in the half-time break to heat up the mood.

And the audience in front of the screens can also participate: On Kika.de, children can type on how the game will end from March 25, 2025. The Kika chat is open on the match day from 5:30 p.m. Selected comments are taken up directly on the live broadcast and discussed on site.

The cooperation between Kika and ARD sports show pursues the goal of letting children participate more closely in major sporting events.
