Sick Spanish student (17) dies during school trip in Hasselt: parents have been fighting for justice for three years

What should have become an instructive school trip turned out on a nightmare for 17-year-old Mario Conesa Bayo from Zaragoza, Spain. On March 14, 2022, the student was found dead at the foot of a staircase in a Hasselt’s hotel. The boy felt sick from day one, but said he was left to his fate by his accompanying teachers. Three years later, his family still fights for justice.
