Mathys Tel from FC Bayern is currently loaned to Tottenham Hotspur. And the Premier League club apparently plans longer with the French. The Munich would benefit.
It was not yet optimal for Mathys Tel at Tottenham Hotspur. At the beginning of his time, the Frenchman loaned to the Londoner during the winter break from FC Bayern could still shine with strong performances at the “Spurs”. After mixed appearances, the 19-year-old only came from the bank. Tel is still waiting for his first goal for Tottenham in the Premier League.
And yet Tel could stay with the “Spurs” in the long term-a message that could also be received positively in Munich with a view to the transfer summer. According to information from “Givemesport”, Tottenham plans to draw the purchase option for the currently loaned offensive player. Tel should therefore grow into the successor role for Heung-Min Son in the long term, which will be 32 years old in summer.
The club is convinced that an investment in the young French international will pay off in the long term despite initial difficulties. According to the report, those responsible are aware that Tel has joined the team in a difficult sporting phase-the Spurs are currently only in 16th place in the Premier League table. In addition, Tel should feel comfortable in London, and the club also believes that the attacker’s potential.
Bayern would benefit. The Podcast “Bayern Insider” of the “Bild” newspaper reported that Tottenham would pay around 60 million euros in the event of a purchase-minus the rental fee, which should amount to a maximum of ten million euros. Important for the Munich management days around sports director Max Eberl, who recently imposed a transfer stop. That means: No new obligations without income. With the proceeds from a telephone sale, purchases could then be made.
