Finland has won World Championship gold for forming skating. Helsinki Rockettes is the world champion of 2025.
There was a real jackpot in Finland, as the second Finnish team Team Unique finished second. Finland thus won a double victory.
Team Unique was second after Friday’s short program. On Saturday, the team overtook Team Haydenettes, a US leader who led the competition, which secured the Finnish World Championship, even though one more team was left.
Rockettes did after Unique and resolved his world championship, but the Finnish World Championship had already resolved Unique. It was just about whether there would be a double win in Finland and which of the teams will grab the world championship.
Finnish teams went on Saturday with good settings.
Helsinki Rockettes led the competition with 79.49 points after the short program. The second was the reigning Finnish champion Team Unique, who also collected 77.31 points for his own performance.
Les Supremes, Canada’s biggest pre -favorite and dominant world champion, was fifth after the short program.
When Les Supremes went on to complete his own free program, the group needed 127.77 points to reach the top. That’s where it succeeded.
The Canadians did well and rose fourth in total investments. The bronze was won by the US Team Haydenettes.
