Former NOS news presenter Harmen Siezen died at the age of 84. His family announced that on Saturday, writes the NOS. Siezen started the broadcaster in 1969 and presented his last journal in 2002.
The pastor’s son, born in Zeeland, came to it in 1969 NOS Journal After he had been disk jockey with Radio Veronica for several years. He then grew into one of the most famous news readers in the Netherlands. Siezen was known for his calm presentation style.
In 1989, Siezen made a short switch to TV10, the first commercial channel in the Netherlands. But the channel failed and Siezen returned to the NOS. He also presented NCRVs between 1995 to 2007 National News Quiz.
