Bailey Bartholomew Briggs alias Spider-Boy is a rather young comic character. The super boy was created by author Dan Slott and the artist Humberto Ramos. He celebrated his debut in “Spider-Man, Volume 4, No. 7” (April 2023). So a fairly young figure, so you don’t have to know the “Webless Wonder”.
As the name suggests, the Spider-Boy has had its spider-like skills since childhood. Spider-Boy is of course an ally of the superhero Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. The book even runs around in sneakers.
What brings us to the adult Spidey. In the “Spider-Man Unlimited” TV series from 1999, Peter Parker lands on a parallel planet called “Counter-Earth”. This is dominated by human -like animals (the “bestials”). In this science fiction setting, he fights against the villain called High Evolutionary and an alternative version of Venom and Carnage. Spider-Man protects itself through a new type of suit, created with nanotechnology.
Hasbro Pulse now has the “Spider Boy” and that in his “Marvel Legends Series” “Spider-Man Unlimited” published.

Spider-Boy is 15 centimeters tall and has 20 movement points. Three accessories: interchangeable head, a few hands, backpack. The network shot hands may irritate because the little spidey cannot actually shoot nets.
So he has a replacement head-but unfortunately no Bailey-Bartholomew-Briggs head, i.e. normal head. Both available heads are Spider-Man heads.
The six “spider eyes” are well applied to the blue mask and in gold color. Spider-Boy can stretch his head very far up and down. Nice add-on: He can show fan teeth (plus 4 more eyes).

Four interchangeable hands as accessories (fist and network shot hands). No plastic nets.
But: A lot has been complained about the color design. Is the blue with this Spider-Man too bright? Shouldn’t he be in black, with a red pattern? Possible. But is not a no-go criterion for this figure. The applied red spider sleeves are quite sent. The 20 movement points work, the figure proves stability.
However, the cape is made of plastic instead of fabric and accordingly a bit too stiff.
