Arjen Lubach is still proving pressure that he is absolutely independent at RTL: his first Linda de Mol-jok is a fact. “This is our new band leader!”, The TV star shouts falsely.
Will RTL already have a scale discount at the carpet farmer? In any case, it is high time for a new carpet where everything can be put under again, certainly now that Linda de Mol returns to RTL. This puts a brake on criticism from Boulevard, where Rob Goossens is not allowed to call anything unpleasant anymore.
New band leader
Arjen Lubach does not have to take those insensitivity into account and he is only too happy to prove that he can be seen on the late evening of RTL 4. He recently made an inevitable joke about The Voice of Holland and now it is also the controversial sweetheart of Linda de Mol, namely the former band leader of that show: Jeroen Rietbergen.
We see in one or other backstage film How a soundman walks towards Arjen to secure something to his lower back. “This is RTL, then people will sit on your ass,” the presenter calls courageously. “I still have to get used to it, but that is our new band leader!”
Buddhist monk
Arjen also dares to do something like that in the broadcast itself. If a video appears of a Buddhist monk who films the collapse of a temple, he shouts: “Then I still think: come on well, Buddhist monk! You also have to be able to live a bit in the moment, isn’t it?”
