The only milestone that celebrated is that of the 61 wins, absolute record since the franchise moved to Oklahoma City. Better than the years of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, to be clear, those who put the Thunders on the map. These Thunder, those 2024-25 version with the favorite for the Mvp Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (it would be the third in the Okc era, after KD and Russ in fact), they can do something that that iconic team has not succeeded in that iconic team: winning the title. And for such a strong team, in the playoffs every result other than Finals would be a disappointment.
