Macy’s gets a top manager from Capri Holdings

The American department store chain has appointed Thomas Edwards as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), said Macy’s Inc. on Wednesday. Edwards will compete on June 22, 2025. He follows Adrian Mitchell, which will remain in his current function as COO and CFO up to Edwards’ start to ensure a smooth handover.

It was only on Tuesday that Edwards announced his farewell to the American fashion group Capri Holdings Limited. The parent company of the brands Michael Kors, Versace and Jimmy Choo announced that Edwards, who also holds the roles of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), will leave the company on June 20.

In his roles at Capri Holdings Limited, he directed the teams for finance, information technology and supply chain.
