Bushido and Fler have been fighting for the trademark rights of their album Carlo Cokxxx hookers for years. Now the judges agreed to Bushido’s applications.
At the beginning of the 2000s, the two rappers took up the common record. Back then under the pseudonyms Sonny Black and Frank White. The LP was then published via the Aggro Berlin label and developed over time into a classic of the Berlin rap scene.
The beef was held in court
In the meantime, the two have a rather tense relationship and there have already been several disagreements that had to be clarified in court. After a trial, Fler had to change the texts of his song “Noname”, in which he handed out against Bushido’s wife and the couple’s common children.
The dispute over “CCN” has also existed for years. Fler has always used the album for Merchandise. These include fan boxes with leather jackets. According to an agreement between AGGRO Berlin from 2007, Bushido has the trademark rights, in particular probably with regard to clothing articles. Fler denied the whole. According to the “Bild”, Bushido called for around six-digit damages, plus court and attorney fees as well as the annihilation of the leather jackets. After the sales figures of the fan boxes had to be disclosed, “a total of 137,000 euros in damages” may be requested.
“We still have patent on the street”
As early as 2024, there was a default judgment because of the dispute after neither Fler nor his lawyers had appeared for the trial. The rapper then appealed, which resulted in the judgment with a detailed reason. Bushido’s applications were approved by the Munich District Court, but the decision is not legally binding. Fler can therefore still appeal.
According to his current Instagram post, the 42-year-old also seems to be responsible, because he wrote: “We still have the patent on the street !! 137,000 Euroshit !! All of this only because we have brought a cool product onto the market … don’t worry! My lawyer is a hundred times more gangster than busnitch … .. We are going in appeal!”
What about new music of the two rappers?
It is unlikely that Bushido and Fler will work together on an album again. But the solo careers don’t seem to end yet. Bushido revealed last month that his last album could appear in 2026 and Fler only released the album 5 together with the rapper Saad in early March.
