The Düsseldorf clothing dealer Peek & Cloppenburg BV & Co. KG strengthens its shopping team. On Monday, the company announced the appointment of Thomas Barlok as Buying Director Menswear.
Barlok will take over the post on June 2 and report directly to Jason Morgan, Managing Director Buying and Chief Product Officer from Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf, according to a message. In his future role, he will therefore “be responsible for the development of a comprehensive growth strategy for the menswear area”. With the appointment, the retailer continued to reorganize his purchasing teams, which had been initiated last autumn.
Barlok comes from the French clothing provider Lacoste. There he was last responsible for the region of North and Central Europe as a director at Lacoste Germany. He started his career as a floor manager at the men’s outfitter Anson’s belonging to the Peek & Cloppenburg group. He then spent 14 years at the Metzingen fashion group Hugo Boss AG and held various management positions during this time.
