RTL 4 pushes the good singing duo Suzan & Freek forward to breathe new life into the infected The Voice of Holland. The TV channel reveals all the details around the talent show in one fell swoop.
It would be completely inappropriate to the victims to make the return of The Voice of Holland a large media circus with names that are ‘unveiled’ one by one in some TV program, so RTL 4 chooses to all details about the revival to make the talent show known in one go in a long press release.
Suzan & Freek
Suzan & Freek are the duo that with their megapopularity it must ensure that The Voice is rehabilitated as the Cash Cow From RTL 4. The other coaches are Dinand Woesthoff, Ilse de Lange and – Huh – Willie Wartaal. Of this foursome, Ilse is the only one who has already been a coach in the program.
RTL 4 chooses to replace Martijn Krabbé with Edson da Graça. This was already on top. Together with Chantal Janzen he will present the shows of The Voice of Holland.
The Voice Kids
What about The Voice Kids? The presentation goes to Jamai Loman and Quinty Misiedjan. “This mix of trusted and new The Voice faces ensures an ideal combination of experience and innovation.”
Just like with The Voice, Ilse de Lange also takes a seat in a red chair for The Voice Kids while Claude, Flemming and Emma Heesters make their first appearance as a coach.
Rock -solid
RTL boss Peter van der Vorst: “The Voice is a very strong format that started worldwide at RTL 4. I am proud that we can offer all the talent that the Netherlands is rich again this unique stage. We are very happy with the enthusiastic team of presenters and coaches. As far as we are concerned, the perfect balance between experienced and new faces for The Voice.”
He continues his standard talk: “Together with producer ITV, we have made every effort to be able to return The Voice in a safe way. We have not only collaborated intensively on the quality of the content, but also on the quality of the process. We are ready to run the red seats again!”
Hard work
Laurens Woldberg, Bobo at producer ITV, must ensure that none of the presenters, coaches or the crew will misbehave against the candidates. He says: “We have worked hard on our organization, culture and our work processes in recent years.”
“We don’t forget the past, but take everything we have learned to ensure that we offer a safe working environment to anyone who is involved in and behind the scenes in our programs. The Voice is still a global hit in more than 70 countries and we look forward to bringing this format back in the Netherlands.”
Anyone who will replace dirty Jeroentje as a band leader is not yet known.
