German Paralympic winner is pregnant

After gold at the Paralympics in Tokyo 2021, Krebs was found at Elena Semechin. The 31-year-old defeated this and won gold again in Paris in 2024. Now she is pregnant.
For Elena Semechin, a new chapter in the private chapter begins after an impressive sporting career: The two -time Paralympic winner awaits the first child together with her husband Philipp. The 31-year-old wrote on social media: “Today I would like to tell you something very personal and wonderful. It finally worked, I’m pregnant.” She is very much looking forward to the upcoming changes.
Despite pregnancy, Semechin remains active for the time being. She is currently training and working “as best I can”. If everything went without complications, she announced her return to the top of the world.
The triple world champion has mastered numerous setbacks in her career. Semechin lives with the eye disease Stargardt’s disease, through which she claims to have only two percent eyesight – trend.
After the gold at the Paralympics in Tokyo 2021, a brain tumor was found. Nevertheless, she continued her training during chemotherapy. Last year she celebrated a successful comeback in Paris – and was honored as German flag bearer at the final ceremony of the Paralympics.
