Russian President Vladimir Putin has called on 160,000 young men for military service. This is apparent from a presidential decree published on Monday. Russians between 18 and 30 are called by mid -July, according to the text. That is the highest number since the Kremlin has started to focus more on professional soldiers and contracts of shorter duration.
