Hpk reportthat the sports director Ilkka and hockey director Erkki Rajamäki’s job descriptions end.
Rajamäki’s employment ends immediately and Haapea will continue until the end of April.
HPK has surveyed the new sports director for the beginning of the year. The mapping is still underway.
The Hämeenlinna club lost to Ace in the first round of the SM League playoffs with a 3-0 win. HPK was tenth in the regular season.

Ilka’s work in developing the entire HPK sports activities is at the point where the reforms have been implemented and it is good to continue with our staff, HPK CEO Kaj Källarsson says in the bulletin.
– Discussions are ongoing and we will be informed of the new sports director after the contract is created. Until then, HPK’s player recruitment and other sports leadership tasks will be shared at HPK Liiga Oy between the league team coaching team, the CEO and the chairman, he continues.
