90 cubic meters of wood chips form the face of Kunst aan de Vaart in Assen

The artwork is the prelude to the 15th edition of Kunst aan de Vaart, which will take place on 10 and 11 September. During this event, residents along the Asser waterway make their homes and gardens available for art. Then 60, mainly regional, artists exhibit their works. According to the organization’s chairman, Anneke Haar, the event is a good way to make art accessible. “There are many people who love art, but not everyone has the opportunity to go to museums or exhibitions.”

In the coming weeks, artworks can be seen in and around the Vaart and along the Canal, including that of Hladikova.
