New research among 294 employees from the waste sector shows that unsafe behavior and aggression still occur too often, it sounds. No less than 87 percent of the waste collectors have to deal with dangerous traffic maneuvers at least once a week, such as catch -up movements on narrow or busy roads.
Four out of ten park rangers report dangerous situations at the recycling park every week, often due to careless driving or impatient visitors. The employees of the info line are also not spared: more than half (52 percent) were dealt with verbally aggressive at least once a week.
