Make a note in the calendar. At this year’s 8mm Fest, there is a place to Bury Strangers, Snapped icher, Peer Pleasure and more live. The whole thing will take place on October 10th and 11th in Berlin in various Venues – presented by MusikExpress.
The press release for the event states: “A new chapter for the Berlin Underground scene: After the well-known Synaesthesia Festival had to pause due to financial bottlenecks, the team behind the 8mm bar now starts a new joint project. Two days, seven stages, local newcomers alongside international sizes-a festival where it is congestive, variety and strengthening of the music scene To expand this vision, the 8mm festival shows the New Colossus Festival Showcase.
To understand: “The New Colossus Festival is an annual music festival in the Lower East Side of New York City, which presents emerging independent artists from all over the world. The festival takes place in legendary small venues such as the Mercury Lounge and Arlene’s Grocery and offers an intimate atmosphere in which you can make new discoveries. For events such as SXSW and attaches value to community, diversity and intercultural exchange in the indie and underground music scene. To get international attention and bring them together with a new audience in the cradle of the underground rock scene in the Lower East Side. ”

The two -day event takes place in the 8mm bar, in the Acud, in the Zionskirche, in the boiler house and in the machine house.
