The 82-year-old man from Helmond, who was missing since Friday afternoon, died recovered. The man lost more than a day and was found on Saturday evening in the vicinity of the nursing home where he lived, the care organization says the Zorgboog.
“We are worried about his well -being and health,” the police write. The elderly man was missing since Friday afternoon 15:00. He would be last seen on the Kanaaldijk in Helmond, near the nursing home where he lived.
“Unfortunately, he died in the immediate vicinity of the care location,” said the Zorgboog in a statement. “Our thoughts go out to the family, loved ones, roommates and colleagues who have been hit by this loss.”
The police make no further statements about the loss out of respect for the family.
