And that is why activists are in Kortrijk this morning: for peace, and against a fight or war. All governments in the world have to do more to avoid or stop war.
Jef Cattebeke van Vredecomité Kortrijk: “We see a bit of the opposite event of what should be done. We see that the policy is being invested in Defense. Suddenly billions are available. But ultimately, the need for investments in peace, in diplomacy, in development cooperation, which are really necessary, we no longer see that happen.”
