On Saturday afternoon, some 700 people took part in a demonstration against the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories and the support that the Israeli state enjoys from the European Union. “Without that support and complicity, Israel would not be able to maintain its colonial and apartheid policies against the Palestinian people,” said the demonstrators, who demand a boycott of Israel and an end to the blockade of the Gaza Strip.
