Help at the petting zoo
On the Voorweg you could visit the goats, cows, rabbits and chickens at the petting zoo every day. Some days as a child you could sign up to help on the farm. Mucking out stables, feeding the animals and cleaning pens: it was all part of it. Some children celebrated their children’s birthday that way.
