6 out of 10 parents find cycle path to school dangerous, but a good solution does not have to be expensive

6 out of 10 Flemish parents call their way to school for their children downright dangerous, according to HLN’s Velove-safe research. However, there is one solution that is simple and not expensive: “Half happen on a busy road, only by turning it into a bicycle street,” say traffic experts. And now it is up to you: indicate in the Velove-safe tool yourself how safe your own street is. Because 89 deceased cyclists a year is still too much.
