1. Beio Godello

This straw-yellow white made only from godello has aromas of ripe stone fruit, such as peach or apricot, along with aromas of lychee. On the palate, it exhibits good body, with weight of ripe fruit, good acidity and great persistence. A good appetizer for a picnic day or to sit at the table and pair with starters, pasta, fish, shellfish and white meat rice dishes. €9.


2. The Smile of Tares 2021

Dominio de Tares, a Bierzo denomination of origin winery, discovers with its youngest white, La Sonrisa de Tares, the uniqueness and elegance that the Godello variety can achieve in the lands of El Bierzo Alto. To savor accompanied by appetizers, salads, pasta and seafood that pair with its floral, citrus and mineral aroma, and to which its work on the lees in the cellar gives it great structure as well as a refreshing palate. 3. White Preacher 2020

This is the 14th edition of the youngest white from La Rioja Bodega Contador. It is made with Viura (38%), Malvasía (38%) and Garnacha Blanca (24%) and is aged for 10 months in barrels. On the nose there are notes of aromatic herbs, white flowers and stone fruits, such as plums. It is fresh, complex and mineral, with very elegant notes of oak. In the mouth it has a powerful and balanced entry in terms of maturity and warmth, but it is fresh thanks to a well-present and long acidity. Fine and very lively, with good volume and very long. €25.


4. Torello Collection Brut Nature 2011

Torelló Viticultors has won, this June, a platinum medal at the Decanter Wine Awards 2022 with its corpinnat Torelló Collection Brut Nature 2011, which has also obtained 97 points from the prestigious British magazine ‘Decanter’. The jury of this influential contest is made up of several ‘Masters of Wine’, ‘Masters Sommeliers’ and great professionals from the world of wine and tasting. This elaboration pays homage to the founder of the winery, Francesc Torelló, who in 1951 made the first bottle of Torelló sparkling wine. It is a coupage of xarel lo, macabeu and parellada with more than 10 years of aging and of which only 809 bottles of 75 cl and 50 magnums (1.5 liters) have been slaughtered. It is complex and subtle, with a very long aging that provides smoked and ‘brioche’ notes, and a creamy texture with great finesse. It goes well with grilled fish, Iberian ham and cheese. €110.


5. Montesquius Naturelovers Rosé Reserva 2018

A fruity and fresh cava made with Monastrell grapes, which differentiates it from other sparkling wines. It has an intense raspberry red color and gives off aromas of red fruits such as cherries, carnation, pink pepper, bay leaf, with a delicate background of freshly brewed coffee and hazelnuts. On the palate it shows good acidity and a creamy bubble that makes it refreshing, meaty and fruity.
